This page explains what Catty does with your information. The short version: your photos are only used to identify your cat, and nearly everything stays on your phone.
When you scan a cat, Catty sends that one photo to Google’s Gemini API, which looks at it and returns the breed matches you see. The photo is used only to identify your cat. Google processes it under its Gemini API terms. We don’t sell your photos, use them for ads, or share them with anyone else.
If you sign in with Apple or Google, your name, email and account ID are stored on your phone so the app knows it’s you. We don’t keep a copy on a server.
Saved scans, photos, favorites and notes live on your phone only. They aren’t synced or uploaded. Deleting the app, or using “Delete all data” in Profile, removes them.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Catty only learns whether Premium is active. We never see your payment details.
Catty has no ads, no analytics and no third-party tracking.
Catty isn’t aimed at children under 13 and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
You can delete everything from Profile → Delete all data, or delete your account from Profile. If you have questions or want help, email us.
